تدور قصة مسلسل نجمة الشمال حول كوزاي الذي هجرته زوجته و تركته بلا مال ليأخذ دين و يفلس و يحجزون منزله ليذهب مع بناتها الثلاث (جوكشه.أمينة.فريدة) و يستقر في البحر الأسود مع بناته الثلاث، سيواجه الكثير من المشاكل مع بلدته التي كل من فيها يعتبره خائن و مع أبيه لانه قبل عشرين عاما هرب من القرية بسبب اجباره على تزوج بنت (يلديز) يعتبرها كأخته و أيضا مع عدوه الذي يريد ان يكون زوج ابنته فريدة مقابل دفع الدين .فهي لم تنساه حتى عند هروبه و عاشت وحيدة لمدة 20 عام و بعد رجوعه أرادت الانتقام في أجواء كوميدية هل سيحبها كما تحبه شاهد المسلسل .
