The reader-friendly layout without annoying advertising banners. The texts, which we supplement with photo galleries, videos, audios and interactive graphics. In addition to our cinema recommendations, also see the video trailer for the film and listen to the music album discussed. Dive deeper into the data behind a story with interactive graphs. And: Test your news knowledge with our news quiz or relax with the daily Sudoku on the tablet.

The FR has received several international awards for its multimedia app, including a main prize at the European Newspaper Award - that's something like the European newspaper Oscar.

Our application stands between the printed newspaper and the Internet; it offers the multimediality of the web, combined with the quality of a calm newspaper text in the sophisticated style of a magazine.

You get our multimedia app with a day pass as well as with a subscription. You can take out your subscription directly in the FR app; it will be charged through your Google account once you have confirmed your order. The subscription is automatically renewed for the subscription period you have chosen - unless you deactivate the renewal 24 hours before the start of a new subscription interval. You can deactivate the renewal of your subscription on the tablet under Settings/Store via your Google account. It is not possible to cancel a subscription period that has already started.

If you wish, almost all articles and functions of this app are available after download without online access. You determine whether the content is only loaded with WLAN or also via mobile phone connections - and whether photo series should be included or not. In the end, you can read the Frankfurter Rundschau wherever you want on your tablet: on the train, on the plane, in a café. Even without internet access.
